Is it just me, or do cracked walnuts look eerily like the human pelvis/pelvic bone?
Seriously.
Once the connection was made in my mind, it somehow felt wrong crunching and chewing it up.
What's that? It IS just me? Okay, fine then.

Pin It Now!
Seriously.
Apparently a sideways pelvis at that. |

It is. Sorry, but it is. You, that is. Because it sure isn't me. They don't have you on any weird drugs, do they? That might account for it. Or pregnancy hormones, that could explain much. Maybe it's just that your brain is focus on your pelvic region. Tell us, are you seeing pelvises anywhere else? And saying it felt wrong to eat it, isn't quite the same as actually not eating it. I notice you're unclear there. I'll bet you snarfed it down. Eating for two and all.
ReplyDelete@Keith - Turn your head to the right! I swear there is at least a vague similarity! lol.
DeleteNo to the weird drugs... and yes to the snarfing down. I snarf EVERYTHING down. I am gaining non-baby-weight like a mother-effin' CHAMP, yo.
I confess I have never really thought about it before but you might be right.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, next time I have a walnut, I will be looking closely at it
@Mynx - hehe. I often wonder if others have as strange thoughts as I do. Enjoy your walnuts! :)
DeleteI came to this blog just to say IT'S NOT JUST YOU! I specifically googled "walnut pelvis" to see if anyone else thought the same thing and discovered this post. You are not alone. Thanks for your bravery.
ReplyDeleteHA! That's awesome. It's nice to know my bravery is appreciated in these vast, scary interwebs. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteYou're not alone!!!!! I just googled "walnut pelvis" as well
ReplyDeleteMe too! I thought that for a while.
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone - 2022 and I just googled 'walnut pelvis' after chomping one shaped exactly the same as the walnut in your picture!
