I'm Alive

That is all.

Okay, not really, but let me say this:

I was hospitalized for 4 days and I feel like absolute shyte. I am M-I-A for a little while, but damn, do I have some stories to tell you.

Dr. Fouladi at Coastal Communities hospital is a terrible, terrible doctor in my opinion.

Being sick away from home is scary, lonely and shitty.

I will post some pre-made stuff for you tomorrow. I need to go rest.

p.s. Thanks for your kinds words, AND, thank goodness, it would appear that I suck at dying (which turned out to be especially helpful and convenient).

  3. Damn Woman....if I had a passport I'd be up there kicking that Dr's ass! Have they let you see your beybees, Shultz and Ella? Because I have great faith in puppy therapy. I know I am in a different country thousands of miles away, but let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do for you, k?

  5. I'm glad you're feeling better! I have never had a good experience going to a hospital. There are some lousy doctors but the whole thing is very dehumanizing. I hope you get completely better soon!

  6. Thanks guys.

This was the American Healthcare System. I was in California.

I can't believe you guys have to pay for such awful care. It's just not right.

Hoping to see Schultz and Ella tonight. Hoping like hell she doesn't jump on me.

  13. OMG now I feel bad for snarkily saying I hope you don't die in one of my last comments! I had no idea that you were THAT sick. I thought you were like me and proclaim imminent death if you get the sniffles. I have to constantly be reminding myself that not everyone in the world is as wimpy as me. I am too egocentric. See, even now, in this comment where I'm wishing you well, I'm talking about how egocentric I am. Now THAT'S egocentric! And when YOU say you're sick BELIEVE IT! I am so so so sorry you are sick and the hospital SUCKS ASS and I'm glad you're out and I hope you are home and comfy and getting better. Love you to pieces and I'm sending all my good, healthy vibes your way!

  14. Wow, I was beginning to wonder! You sounded quite ill in your last post, so I wasn't surprised that you were gone for awhile. Sorry you got a shitty doc. :-( Glad you're home now! Get some rest and get better soon. :-)

  15. Nope, I was wrong. I didn't miss anything. My brain is still in daylight savings mode. Ugh. Why do they make us Spring Forward??

  17. SO SO glad you suck at dying, my canadian name sister. SO SO sad you had to experience our fucking ridiculous, evil, disgusting healthcare system firsthand whilst trying not to die.

  18. I am glad to hear you're alive! If I ever come to the United States, I'm totally writing "Do not let Dr. Fouladi at Coastal Communities Hospital treat under any circumstances. Including to pronounce time of death" on my emergency info necklace.

  19. You suck at dying? Well u certainly have a unique way of looking at things, lol. But on a serious note, I hope you are feeling better now. Yes our healthcare sucks. Since our economy is still in the crapper it comes to the point where you can't even afford any of it & you begin to wonder, so even if I'm like dying, will they just let me die b/c I don't have insurance? Maybe.... :(
